How to uninstall third-party anti virus programs

  1. Open Control Panel: Search for "Control Panel" in the Windows search bar and open it.

  2. Access Programs and Features: Look for "Programs and Features" and click on it.

  3. Find Antivirus Program: Locate your third-party antivirus software in the list.

  4. Uninstall: Right-click on the antivirus program and select "Uninstall."

  5. Follow Prompts: Follow the uninstallation prompts and provide any required permissions.

  6. Restart (if needed): If prompted, restart your computer.

How to disable Windows Defender

Defender Control (Windows 10)

  2. Disable: Click "Disable Windows Defender" in the program's interface.

  3. Confirmation: Approve any prompts that may appear.

Disable manually (Windows 11)

  1. Open Windows Security:

    • Search for "Windows Security" in the Windows search bar and open the app.

  2. Access Virus & Threat Protection Settings:

    • In the Windows Security app, click on "Virus & threat protection."

  3. Manage Settings:

    • Under "Virus & threat protection settings," click on "Manage settings."

  4. Disable Real-Time Protection:

    • Toggle off the switch next to "Real-time protection."
